  • What Will My First Session Be Like?
If you have never been to therapy before, your first session may feel like you are telling your life story and getting a lot off your chest. You will share relevant information such as your family history, major life events, as well as discuss your overall goals for therapy.
  • Do You Accept Insurance?
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance for our individual psychotherapy sessions. Couples counseling and family counseling are all restricted to private pay. We are also happy to discuss our self-pay options with you.
  • What Are Your Rates (Out of Pocket Fees)?

  • What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept cash, check, and credit card payments. We require all clients to keep a credit card on file.
  • What Is Your Cancellation/No Show Policy?
All counseling sessions require a 24 hour cancellation notice. Failure to give 24 hour notice will result in a fee of the total cost of your session. Two consecutive absences without 24-hour advanced notification may result in the cancellation of all remaining appointments.
  • What Are Your Covid Protocols?
In order to receive in-person services, clients must agree to take the below precautions. If clients do not adhere to these safety measures, it may result in our starting/returning to a telehealth arrangement. Clients with in-person appointments are expected to: Keep in-person appointments only if you are symptom free. Take your temperature before coming to each appointment. If it is elevated (100 Fahrenheit or more), or if you have other symptoms of Covid-19, you agree to cancel the appointment or proceed using telehealth. If you wish to cancel for this reason, we will not charge you our normal cancellation fee. Answer COVID-19 screening and symptom questions. Atlas Collaborative staff has the right to ask you to reschedule using telehealth if you say “Yes” to any questions. Recognize the increased risk of contracting the virus in the office and accept that risk. Additional precautions regarding in-person appointments: In-person visits may not be available for every therapist of Atlas Collaborative due to their personal needs. We reserve the right to require telehealth appointments of any or all clients versus in-person appointments if we feel it is necessary to maintain the safety of Atlas Collaborative staff and our clients. If you have a job that exposes you to other people who are infected, you will immediately let your clinician know. If you or your therapist is sick: If you show up for an appointment, and we believe that you have a fever or other symptoms, or believe you have been exposed, we will have to require you to leave the office immediately. We can follow up with services by telehealth as appropriate. Clients who test positive for COVID and have attended an in-person therapy session in the past two weeks must notify their therapist immediately. Your in-person services will be paused and telehealth will resume, for the duration of two weeks or until you are cleared by a doctor. If a resident of your home tests positive for the infection, you will immediately let Atlas Collaborative Counseling know and we will then continue sessions via telehealth.
